Beer Brewing with Coffee Flavor

It is my first time brewing beer with coffee flavor, our brewer taught us step by step with all details, although the wort before fermentation tasted no good, we are happy to see what yeasts will do.

In fact it is still not easy for me to understand the entire process of mashing, lauter, boiling and whirlpool. How many malts and coffee shall we feed? When and why heating up? How to control the right time?

These questions are totally over my head. We now recognize the heavy loading works that brewers have to do everyday, and we have an idea to combine hot water tank with the exisiting thermail oil heating brewhouse.
